Adorable.

Before we get into it, i just to say what a delightful surprise it is to find spam comments on my blog. It means that someone’s really taking an interest, you know?
i felt that in order to keep from being shot dead in the street by a walking stereotype, i should qualify my earlier comments regarding black people and how their nudity “doesn’t count.” i blame this mostly on National Geographic, and endeavor to take an exhausting look into the matter, although truth be told i’ll probably be in the mood to pour myself some Pepsi in a half hour and it’ll be on to shinier things for me.
This blog entry was brought to you by the cold refreshing taste of Pepsi.
i must confess, dear readers, that i did a bad thing.
The other night i watched BET - the Black Entertainment Network - and i’m not even black. i watched it furtively, worrying that my door would be kicked in by black cops because there’s some kind of law against white guys watching black teevee.
i’ve always felt funny watching black teevee. i get a weird feeling about it. i think it’s because the jokes, and the attitudes portrayed, are not meant for me. Those jokes aren’t written for Whitey. i could always handle shows like Diff’rent Strokes, where a white millionaire adopts a couple of black kids, or The Cosby Show, where a black family lives in a mansion and pulls down a dual income from their respective doctor and lawyer jobs. THAT i get. But Good Times? Sanford and Son? The Jeffersons? 227? What’s funny about Jackée? Please, someone tell me.
