I thought I could always count on twistedhip to remain true, but alas, some things do change. Perhaps I will pick up the flag of being cell-phone-less. Personally, I much prefer two way radio - no annoying ring tones, and there is something kinda cool about still being able to call your wife after a nuclear war (or electrical grid collapse for that matter).

dendritejungle - i don’t know what people are talking about with this “hassle” of unit-owning. i mean, as long as you tuck it back in your pocket when you’re finished with it, i don’t see what the problem could possibly be.

ah, cell phones…i’ve had one for years… i like it… however, it’s my only phone… i can’t be bothered paying for a homephone anymore.

speaking of ring tones… my faves over the years… i had a hot midi of eye of the tiger that made my day every time it rang… another great cell phone rings of wandabun cell phone past is that 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 song from sesame street of yesteryear.

Dude. Your unit is the SEXIEST DAMN THING I have ever seen. I am not even kidding. And it fit in my hands perfectly. I could have played with that thing ALL NIGHT LONG. (Okay, maybe once we finished watching The Electric Company DVDs. That totally made my evening. After your unit, of course.)

I’d go get my own, but for me it’s not worth the hassle of owning one - and hey, you’ve got such a good one so near by! You can bring yours over to my place ANY time…
